Emerson/IXT Launches a New Karaoke Product Line
Emerson and IXT have come out with a series of new products that promise to change the face of karaoke on the retail sales floors across the nation, and in the home. You might say karaoke comes to home theater!

The new products from Emerson/IXT are designed to convert any media source to karaoke:
- Portable Handheld Microphone DVD Karaoke Converter w/Rockin'
Party 30 song DVD (M201). Convert any DVD player and TV into a karaoke system. The DVD Karaoke Microphone Converter, M201, connects to any DVD player audio-out ports and TV audio-in ports. That allows the singer's voice to be mixed with whatever is playing in the DVD player. Includes a Rockin' Party 16-song DVD to get the party started. At just $29.95 MSRP including 16 songs, users can party without the need to buy expensive and complex karaoke gear. There are multiple versions of wireless DVD Karaoke Microphone Converters from Emerson/IXT as well. Working with a typical receiver and transmitter combination, these microphones allow the singer to move about 150' from the base units.
- iPod Handheld Microphone, Ipod Karaoke Converter w/30-song DVD (M209) This
is identical to the unit above, but it is designed specifically to meet the needs
of the iPod lover. iPod goes karaoke! Plug our microphone into the iPod headphone
jack for audio and video out signals, then plug into any TV. That allows the
singer's voice to be mixed with whatever is playing on the iPod. Sing along with
all your favorite music!
- Universal Speaker Karaoke Converter (SP402): Universal Speakers
